Verona - the city of Romeo & Juliet
Who didn't try, perhaps not just ones, to meet love exactly in that place where it happens... well, Verona gives you the possibility to travel back in time with your mind and live a unique experience. It is the city where the love story of Shakesperes drama Romeo and Juliet took place receiving the fame of city of lovers. Juliet's Balcony and house is a sight very hounted by tourists, a kind of Tour Effel of Verona, and nearly, a Juliet of bronze is waiting for you to immortalize the moment in a special holiday picture.
Rab Island
Rab Island, located to the south of the Istria Peninsula is a magnet for the admirers of the Adriatic. Arid and stony in the north-east, it is covered in the southwest with pine woods. The medieval town Rab, one of the most beautiful in the region, is built on a narrow peninsula, which closes a sheltered port. The towers of four village churches are easily found among the red roofs of houses. Saint Anthony Monastery was built in 1675, the Romanesque-style cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary has a beautiful terrace facing the sea, and the church of St. Justine currently hosts a small museum of religious art. From the old church of Saint John has not been preserved more than a belfry and a part of the foundation.
La Croix-Rousse is a hill in the town of Lyon, France, as well as the name of a quarter located on this hill (divided into two halves - the pentes, a part of the town's 1st arrondissement, and the plateau, in its 4th arrondissement). It is near the Place des Terreaux.
